MOLEC® HEAVY-DUTY GL-5 GEAR OILS are formulated with a thermally stable friction modifier for limited slip performance, an advanced sulfur-phosphorus extreme pressure additive and premium base stocks to make an optimally balanced gear oil that delivers robust protection against sludge build-up and thermal breakdown to deliver long gear and bearing life.

Applications:

MOLEC® HEAVY-DUTY GL-5 GEAR OILS are recommended for use in spiral bevel and hypoid differentials, power dividers, oil lubricated steering axle wheel bearings, conventional transmissions and manual transmissions calling for Limited Slip, API GL-5 and MT-1. These gear oils are excellent automotive gear lubricants particularly when operating under severe temperature and load condition. They provide excellent wear control even in the presence of small amounts of water. The exceptional thermal and oxidation stability and anti-wear performance promotes long gear life and optimal drain intervals.
